Set-top and interactive TV technology supplier Netgem has created a new connected home product division to be headed by former Technicolor executive Romain Waller.
Netgem has recently announced a number of new customers including Viaplay in Sweden, YouSee in Denmark, Netia in Poland, GlobeCast in the US and TotalPlay in Mexico. The group is also introducing a new product range with the launch of a compact platform, the N7700 Netbox, and a mobile connectivity device, Wobe.
Christophe Aulnette, CEO of Netgem, said: “For the past three years Netgem has been very focused on international expansion and has diversified its customer-base worldwide and today works with 18 operators across 14 countries, from Australia to Mexico! While keeping on driving this international plan, we will expand our product portfolio to provide more solutions to our customers’ subscribers in this highly competitive environment. I’m delighted to count on Romain’s leadership and product expertise in this new development phase.”
