Nagravision (Stand E11) will use ANGA Cable to highlight various solutions for securing multiscreen TV experiences.
Nagra Multiscreen securely delivers content to multiple devices, according to the company. The solution includes Nagravision’s user interfaces, multiscreen video management platform, set-top box middleware from OpenTV, secure player and DRM solution allowing subscribers to consume content wherever, whenever and on any screen.
Nagravision will also demo the Nagra Gateway that enables tablets and PCs within the home to access existing high-quality broadcast channels without creating a burden on the network infrastructure or the need for a high-end home media gateway.
Also on show will be Nagravision’s VOD conditional access modules that enable cable operators to deploy revenue generating VOD services directly to connected TVs, without using a set-top box. Its subsidiary SmarDTV will demonstrate a turnkey solution for cable VOD in SmarCAMs based on CI Plus and HbbTV.
