Russia’s Altai region in southern Siberia will launch DVB-T2 digital-terrestrial services this year, according to local reports.
The Altai government decided to adopt DVB-T2 as its format of choice in September last year, and the region is now on course to complete digital transition ahead of Russia’s target date of 2015, according to the local authorities.
