Malian DTT operator Malivision has upgraded its Conax conditional access system from CAS7 to Conax Contego.
Conax said the Contego system offers Malivision reduced cycle time and an efficient interface to easily manage consumer product offerings.
The platform includes a DRM solution to control what end-user are allowed to do with the content. Management of chipset pairing can also be administered and all pairing transactions are stored in the audit log for easy tracking, according to Conax.
“Malivision has been very satisfied with the performance of the Conax CAS7 solution and the cooperation with Conax skilled professionals. Upgrading to the next generation Conax security platform was a natural choice,” said Serge Dergham, general manager, Malivision.
