Strong year for Multimedia Polska

Multimedia Polska ended 2011 with 1.5 million RGUs, up 147,000 year-on-year.

The cable operator said advanced services including digital TV and high speed broadband along with attractively priced bundles had led to the increase. Over 100,000 customers took a triple-play package last year, up 8.5% on 2010, while 242,000 took two services.

TV services accounted for 770,000 RGUs, an increase of 30,000, with 195,000 taking digital services, up from 141,700 a year earlier. Internet RGUs were up 37,000 to over 400,000.
