Sky News HD launches in Singapore

BSkyB’s Sky News has struck a deal with Singapore pay TV operator StarHub to launch Sky News HD as the country’s first HD news channel.

Sky News HD began broadcasting on the StarHub platform today at 06:00 local time. The channel is available as part of an upsize of the Basic HD package available for SG$8.56 (€5.23). World News Basic Upsize Group customers using a HubStation HD, HD or HD interactive set-top box can view a free preview of Sky News HD until the end of June.
