UK digital video consumption rises 20%

Consumption of digital video in the UK increased by 20% year-on-year in the first nine months of the year according to the British Video Association.

Figures show that digital video made up 15% of the total video market, and was worth a total of £206.3 million (€240.2 million) by the end of September. That compares to revenue of £1.14 billion from physical sales. Revenues from the total UK video market were down 6% year-on-year, according to the BVA.
