Value-added services including IPTV added almost 37% to the value of basic broadband subscriptions in 2010, according to research by Point Topic.
According to the company, global value-added services including IPTV and voice-over-IP added US$10.20 (€7.60) to the average broadband subscription of US$28. Point Topic estimated that total broadband access revenues increased from a run rate of US$129 billion at the end of 2009 to US$157 billion at the end of 2010.
