France’s Free makes Twitter available on TV

French ISP Iliad Telecom has made Twitter available to TV screens via its Freebox Révolution service.

Users can use a virtual keyboard to send Tweets and can read Tweets on blogs that they follow direct on their TV screens via their remotes. They can also re-tweet messages and hook into links posted on Tweets.

The service is included at no additional charge to all Freebox Révolution users.
