Sony Pictures Television has promoted Kylie Munnich to senior vice-president, distribution for the UK, Ireland and Africa.
Munnich, who was previously vice-president of distribution, Australia and New Zealand for the Hollywood studio will be responsible for all film and television sales in these territories and will also work with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment for online and digital markets, particularly subscription video-on-demand services.
Before joining Sony she was director, Asia-Pacific, MGM International Television Distribution. She will report to Stuart Baxter, senior executive president, distribution.
Baxter said: “Kylie is a highly experienced and valued team member at SPT, and much respected amongst industry peers. I’m extremely pleased to welcome her to the Europe team and this new role, created to bring a dedicated focus to these important territories.”
