Quadriga acquires paywall specialist SmoovieTV

Hospitality industry specialist Quadriga has acquired SmoovieTV, which provides a patented TV paywall system for the hospitality and healthcare markets.

According to Quadriga, SmoovieTV’s TV paywall enables properties to offer access to pre-pay TV channels, which works well for hotels that focus on the lower cost stay option for guests, as well as for those who do not wish to invest in an integrated guest communication and entertainment platform.

The acquisition is part of a wider move by Quadriga to extend the range of products it offers to the hospitality market, most recently via the acquisition of guest communications portal provider Sensiq.
