Israel-based satellite operator Spacecom has signed a deal with Hungarian telco Magyar Telekom to provide additional capacity for its DTH service, T-Home SatTV, on the Amos platform at 4 degrees West.
The US$7 million (EUR5 million) agreement comes on top of a previous deal, also valued at US$7 million. Magyar Telekom currently has over 260,000 subscribers on the platform. Spacecom also provides capacity to Deutsche Telekom-owned sister company Magio TV in neighbouring Slovakia.
