Discovery in management shuffle

International factual channel operator Discovery Communications has made a number of executive changes in its latest management shuffle.

Marc Etkind, who was previously vice-president, development at Animal Planet, will lead Planet Green as senior vice-president, content strategy and Ed Hersh, who was previously senior vice-president, strategic planning for Investigation Discovery and the Military Channel, becomes senior vice-president, content strategy at the Military Channel. Separately, Sara Kozak has been promoted from from vice-president, production to senior vice-president, production across Investigation Discovery, the Military Channel and Planet Green.
