Correction: Vevo announces new strategic advertising partnership

On September 6, we reported that music video site Vevo is launching in France, Spain and Italy via a partnership with Yahoo!

Vevo is in fact available in these territories via a syndication partnership with YouTube. Under its deal with Yahoo! the latter will sell advertising for Vevo on YouTube in the three markets. The full Vevo platform, which is currently available in the US, Canada and the UK, is not launching in these territories, as we stated in the original article.
