TDC sees record VOD buys in July

Danish telco TDC Group, which also owns cable operator YouSee, said that July was a record month for its video-on-demand service, with a total of over 140,000 movie rentals in the course of the month.

The figure represents double the figure for July 2010, a month characterized by much finer summer weather than this year.

TDC offers VOD on the internet and cable TV via the YouSee Cinema and TDC Home Trio services.
