CME launches Voyo in Romania

Central and Eastern European broadcaster Central European Media Enterprises (CME) has launched its video-on-demand service Voyo in Romania.

The platform enables Romanian viewers to watch catch-up TV from CME’s PRO TV. Some VOD content is available for free and viewers can pay to see TV episodes ahead of transmission, or watch a selection of movies, including The King’s Speech, Slumdog Millionaire, The Hurt Locker and Milk.

Voyo debuted in the Czech Republic in January and has since launched in Croatia. CME said it planned to roll Voyo out across all of its regions by the end of the year.
