France Telecom-backed Polish telco Telekomunikacja Polska’s (TP) increased its TV subscriber base by 30.8% in the 12 months to the end of June, taking its total to 592,000 customers.
Of that total, 482,000 took DTH services, up from 340,000 a year earlier. The number of IPTV subscribers was down, however, to 111,000 from 113,000.
Second quarter revenue from broadband and TV services was down to PLN368 million (€92 million) from PLN385 a year earlier as customers spent less. ARPU in the second quarter was PLN53.10 compares with PLN56.60 a year earlier.
