Spiegel TV to launch knowledge channel

The publisher of German news magazine Der Spiegel’s TV arm, Spiegel TV, is to launch a new TV channel in the autumn.

Spiegel TV Wissen (Knowledge) is currently recruiting for staff and is expected to launch on cable and IPTV in October. Spiegel TV, which already provides two TV channels- Spiegel TV and Spiegel TV Geschichte – recently also launched a free online TV service.
