German cable operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG) has begun offering fast internet services to households in the cities of Gera in Thuringia, Hildesheim in Lower Saxony and Trier in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The latest additions mean that about 6.6 million households across the country can now receive up to 100Mbps internet from the company, about half the total households passed.
