French commercial broadcaster TF1 is to migrate its video-on-demand services to the MyTF1 brand and dispense with the TF1 Vision name, according to local reports.
According to French press, TF1 employees have already been told about the change ahead of an official announcement expected in the summer. MyTF1 is the name currently used for the broadcasters catch-up service available on the Orange, Bouygues and Freebox IPTV services. TF1 currently also uses the TF1 Replay brand for its catch-up service online.
The move has given rise to some speculation that the broadcaster will aim to develop an inclusive subscription VOD service.
