Kabel BW strikes HD and VOD deal with RTL

German cable operator Kabel BW has struck a deal with broadcaster RTL to carry the latter’s HD channels and to include the RTL Now service as part of its video-on-demand offering.

The Baden-Württemburg operator will carry the HD versions of RTL, RTL 2 and Vox as part of its offering. The pair have also agreed to work together on on-demand services, including the integration of the RTL Now service in the Kabel BW video store.
