Akado adds Travel Channel and Europa Plus

Russian service provider Akado has added the Travel Channel and Europa Plus TV to its line-up.

The Travel Channel launched in 1994 and has distribution across Europe, the Middle East, Africa Asia and the Pacific. Last year, the broadcaster launched an HD version of the channel that Akado said it would carry “in the near future”.

Music channel Europa Plus is a joint venture between the European Broadcasting Media Group and distributor Red Media. It airs music videos from Russian and European artists and is available in Akado’s Mix package at no extra cost to subscribers.
