RCS & RDS launches third sports channel

Romanian pay TV operator RCS & RDS has launched a new sports channel, Digi Sport 3, as part of its Digi TV service.

RCS & RDS’s existing sports channels, Digi Sport and Digi Sport Plus, will be renamed Digi Sport 1 and Digi Sport 2.

According to the operator, the launch of the new channel will allow viewers to choose between live sports events scheduled at the same time. The channel will kick off  with an airing of European under-21 football championship matches between Belarus and Iceland, and Denmark and Switzerland, on June 11.
