French online video site Dailymotion is considering the launch of pay services as part of an overall strategy of developing new services with shareholder Orange.
CEO Martin Rogard told the Reuters news agency that the company was interested in working more closely with Orange and in launching new services. Rogard is studying possibly pay services that could ultimately be offered, as well as the integration of the Dailymotion service with Oranges high-speed internet services, according to the report.
Orange acquired a 49% stake in Dailymotion at the beginning of the year for Â58.8 million.Â
