TDF acquires on-demand specialist BeBanjo

French transmission company TDF has acquired BeBanjo, a Spanish back-office on-demand TV software specialist.

TDF will combine BeBanjo with French broadcast and broadband technical service provider Cognacq-Jay Image. The two companies will develop a complete system for linear and non-linear platforms, designed to allow platforms operators, broadcasters and content owners to distribute media content across multiple platforms, devices and countries.
