Russian service provider MTS has signed a deal with the administrative authorities of Novorossiysk on the countrys Black Sea coast for the development of fixed (including cable TV) and mobile networks in the city.
MTS will invest about RUB130 million (Â3.3 million) in building networks in the Novorossiysk. The company plans to extend an FTTB network in the city to cover the suburbs, covering about 40,000 apartments, delivering up to 100Mbps internet and digital TV services, as well as building a 3G mobile network.Â
