MTG delivers HD History and Nature to CEE


Modern Times Group is launching the high definition versions of its Viasat History and Viasat Nature across 22 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

The company is launching the networks on May 4. Viasat History HD will air a raft of ancient and modern history documentaries, while Viasat Nature HD will run wildlife-based factual series. MTG president and CEO Hans Holger Albrecht said: “The launch of our first two international HD channels is an important step in the ongoing development of our pay TV offering in the emerging markets.”
