Bundesliga sees record earnings from overseas deals
The German Football League (DFL) has achieved record earnings from overseas coverage of the top Bundesliga league this season.â¨
With the current season set to end next month, the DFLs marketing subsidiary DFL Sports Enterprises said it was able to distribute Â40 million, or 15% more than expected to the BundesligaÂs teams.
ÂFrom the 2012/13 season, we expect a further, significant double-digit growth, ” said DFL managing director Christian Seifert.â¨
The Bundesliga broadcasts up to five matches live each week to 198 countries.
