Panasonic to make iPlayer available on new TVs

TV manufacturer Panasonic will make the BBC iPlayer service available to new Viera Connect TVs from this year.

Panasonic will make the service available to 24 new LCD and Plasma models launching this year, with screen sizes ranging from 32-65 inches.

Viera Connect also offers applications including interactive games, access to YouTube and Picasa, Skype and Twitter.
