France Télévisions launches iPhone app

Public broadcaster France Télévisions has launched an iPhone application, allowing users to view its channels on their handsets.

The France Télévisions app will join existing services from TF1, Canal Plus, M6, BFM TV, i>Télé, Direct8 and France 24 on the iPhone. The France Télévisions app allows viewers to watch the broadcaster’s five channels and includes a seven-day programme guide that also permits searching for programmes aired over the past seven days. It includes the ability to set programme alerts and to access catch-up service Pluzz.
