PolandÂs Ân pay TV platform has added National Geographic HD to its channel line-up. The addition takes the total number of HD channels available on the DTH service to 26, more than any other Polish operator.
Under the terms of the agreement with Fox International Channels Poland, which oversees the international distribution of the National Geographic Channel and its content, Ân has also secured over 20 hours of National Geographic Channel 3D content and will premiere the films on both its 3D channel, PolandÂs first regular service nShow3D, and video on-demand.
ÂThis partnership is of strategic importance since it strengthens our position as the premium HD and 3D content provider in the Polish marketplace, said Christian Anting, chief operating officer of Ân. ÂWe are pleased to be working with our partners at Fox International Channels Poland as the National Geographic Channel brand and its award winning documentary content will be available as a linear channel in HD. The new 3D content will be available on our nShow3D service and in our video on demand offer. With the best HD picture quality and the most HD channels available, Platform Ân will transform viewerÂs television entertainment experience.Â
