RTR-Planeta returns to Viasat in the Baltics

The Baltic version of the Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Company’s RTR-Planeta channel is to return to Viasat Broadcasting’s pay TV platform in the Baltic states.

RTR-Planeta Baltija is aimed at Russian speakers in the region, covering news and current affairs, lifestyle programmes, documentaries and talk-shows. The channel has been absent from the Modern Times Group-owned Viasat service in the Baltics since July, when the parties failed to agree carriage terms.
