Belgacom strikes deal with Blinkx

Belgian cable operator Belgacom has struck a deal with global video search engine Blinkx.

The deal will see Blinkx’s video search power Belgacom’s new entertainment platform, giving subscribers access to more content across a number of devices. The deal is exclusive to Belgium and Luxembourg. Belgacom chief executive Didier Bellens said that the partnership complements deals that it has recently struck with web services Jinni and OnLive.
