UK-based set-top box provider Pace has acquired Northern Ireland-based conditional access provider Latens for approximately £29 million (33 million), including £10 million deferred and payable in 2012 subject to certain conditions being met.
The move follows PaceÂs acquisition last month of US gateway technology company 2Wire. The latest acquisition gives Pace Latens card-less IPTV and DVB content security technology and its IPTV middleware.
