Samsung extends Yahoo! partnership to new countries

Samsung has announced that it will sell Yahoo! connected TV sets in 26 more countries in Europe, taking to 39 the number of countries where Samsung TVs with Yahoo! widgets are available.

The pair initially struck an agreement in January last year. Samsung’s Internet @TV service will now feature a new full-screen Yahoo! user interface.

In addition to Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and LG also make TVs with Yahoo! software embedded.
