SMiT supplies CI Plus CAMs to Volia

Conditional access module (CAM) manufacturer SMiT has begun supplying Conax CI Plus chipset pairing CAMs to Ukrainian cable operator Volia.

SMiT’s Secure Plus CAM, which is compliant with the CI Plus version 1.2 specification, has been approved by Volia, enabling users to subscribe to its services, including HDTV, via integrated digital TVs without the need for a set-top box.
