Primacom sells networks to KDG

German cable operator Primacom has sold about 70,000 subscribers in he cities of Mainz and Osnabrück to the country’s largest operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG).

Primacom is selling about 30,000 homes in Mainz and 40,000 in Osnabrück, which it says will enable it to focus on its core markets in eastern Germany. The deal is subject to approval by the country’s Federal Cartel Office.
