France Telecom-backed Polish telco Telekomunikacja Polska’s (TP) digital TV subscriber base is now almost half a million, according to the company’s latest quarterly results. The company had 497,000 IPTV and satellite TV subscribers at the end of the third quarter, representing a penetration of 21.9% of its broadband subscribers base.
TP has recently struck a deal with broadcaster TVN to jointly market each other’s services to their respective subscriber bases, with TP offering TVN channels and pay TV service to its subscribers, while TVN offers TPSA broadband and internet services to subscribers.
