Satellite operator AsiaSat has signed a launch contract for its forthcoming AsiaSat 7 satellite with International Launch Services (ILS).
The Space Systems/Loral-built C- and Ku-band satellite will be launched on board a Proton vehicle from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in 2011, and will be positioned at 105.5° East.
