Video website YouTube and Frances society of music authors, composers and editors (Sacem) have signed an agreement that will allow the latterÂs members to be remunerated when their works are shown by YouTube.
The agreement is retroactive, covering the distribution in France of works from the launch of the video site to the end of 2012.
