Discovery has rejigged numerous senior management roles across EMEA as part of a new structure under which its operations are divided into developed and evolving markets. The developed markets division comprises the UK, Discoverys largest market outside the US, and western, southern and northern Europe. Previously, the UK was a standalone business, as was EMEA.
The developed markets business will be managed by Dee Forbes, who is upped from UK boss. Susannna Dinnage is promoted from senior VP, scheduling and research to general manager, UK. Dan Korn who was head of programming for the UK channels now assumes that role for the developed markets division.
The evolving markets division comprises central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Phillip Luff is acting general manager, central Europe.
