UK technology company BiBC is launching an internet TV service.
The over-the-top service will be deployed via TV manufacturer Philips new range of connected TVs. IT will allow consumers to watch content from ITV, Cartoon Network and others for £2.99 (Â3.57) a month.
Paul Hague, Director at BiBC said: ÂWe have seen video-on-demand services become extremely successful over the internet, such as with the iPlayer in the UK and TF1 in France. Now, as the new wave of connected TVs launch across Europe, consumers can turn to their traditional viewing device  the TV  to enjoy their favourite content on-demand.Â
