UPC Netherlands launches remote recording

UPC Netherlands has announced the launch of its new Remote Recording application that allows its digital TV customers to set up DVR recording from remote locations.

From October, UPC Digital customers will be able to use iPhones, iPads, other mobile browsers and PCs to view an EPG and then set up a recording for a programme on their UPC Media box DVR. The service has been developed in collaboration with Dutch media company Service2media. The app also gives UPC customers the option of searching for programmes, setting up favourite channels and recording entire series.
