Romanian cable operator NextGen Communications has launched a low-cost pay-TV package in 15 cities across the country as it looks to compete with market leaders RCS&RDS and UPC Romania. The cabler, which is owned by local telco Romtelecom, launched the service that includes 85 channels for RON27 (6.33). NextGen originally launched in 2008 and has over 100,000 subscribers in over 20 cities.
