ANT adds Sky Player to Humax boxes

Set-top vendor Humax has selected digital TV software specialist ANT to deliver a Sky Player implementation for use with its Freeview HD products. ANT’s implementation of the Sky Player TV specification was developed in collaboration with pay-TV operator BSkyB.

Humax offers two products for the UK’s Freeview HD service – the HD-FOX T2 and HDR-FOX T2 DVR. The ANT Galio Platform will enable users of the devices with an appropriate Sky subscription to be able to access the Sky Player service, which provides live and on-demand Sky programming.
