TV Genius selected by STV

Search and recommendation specialist TV Genius has announced that Scottish commercial broadcaster STV has selected its Content Discovery Platform to offer search and recommendation functionality on its digital platforms, including the STV Player, the broadcaster’s online programme catch up service.

The TV Genius Content Discovery Platform allows consumers to search and recommend content, helping to provide personalised consumer TV services through the TV, web or mobile.

At IBC IPTV set-top vendor Amino Communications will demonstrate TV Genius’s solution on the Amino Freedom hybrid/OTT media centre.
