Jungo USB enables set-top WiFi connectivity

NDS-owned gateway middleware specialist Jungo has announced the launch of its advanced TV set-top box USB connectivity software solution that the company says can connect a standard set-top to any home or wireless network
.

By using the set-top’s USB port the Jungo solution can support new services, including video-on-demand, video streaming, broadcast-internet convergence and interactive services that require a return path. It can be used with a WiFi dongle, to connect the set-top to a home network, or with a 3G USB modem.
