Cyfrowy Polsat buys remainder of mPunkt

Cyfrowy Polsat has acquired mPunkt Polska, which sells a range of mobile phone products and services.

The Polish pay-TV operator now owns 100% of the cellco, having originally bought a 45% stake for PLN24.6m (€6.2m) in November 2009.

The cell phone company distributes Polkomtel products and owns a chain of 200 retails stores, which Cyfrowy Polsat wants to use to sell its TV and triple-play services. It acquired the remaining shares in mPunkt from Polish private-equity outfit Royalton Capital.
