Sony is launching a video-on-demand streaming service across Europe that will make a raft of movies and TV series available across a number of cloud based platforms.
The service Powered by Qriocity  will make content available on Bravia TV sets, Sony computers, Blu-ray players and the Playstation 3 gaming console. The service is currently available in the US but will roll out later this year in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK. The technology company has inked rental deals with all of the Hollywood studios including 20th Century Fox, NBC Universal, Warner Bros, MGM, Disney, Paramount, Lionsgate and sister company Sony Pictures.
