Opta to undertake new market analysis
Dutch communications regulator Opta has announced that it will undertake a new analysis of the countrys cable TV market, following the overturning of its previous analysis by the countryÂs business cases appeal court.
OptaÂs previous analysis led to the forcing open of cable operators Ziggo and UPCÂs analogue networks to competition, most notably from alternative telco Tele2, which launched a short-lived analogue resale offer.
Ziggo and UPC have said they will cooperate with the market analysis.
